Our vineyards in the Colchagua Valley, located in a mountain range that houses a micro valley called La Lajuela, are the perfect home for our Eagles, who naturally maintain the ecosystem of the vineyard and who inspire us to produce our flagship wine, the VERDI AGUILA. This premium Cabernet Sauvignon was grown on hills, hand-picked and carefully vinified, then aged for over a year in American and French oak barrels. It has a perfectly balanced purity and freshness with a sumptuous depth of ripe red fruit and a chocolate finish. It is polished, intense and intertwined in a fine and elegant structure.
ORIGIN: Colchagua Valley, CHILE.
AGING: 50% of the wine was aged in French and American oak barrels for 14 months.
STORAGE RECOMMENDATION: It can be enjoyed immediately or stored for twenty years or more in a cool and dry place.
RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE: 16º to 18º C (61º - 64º F).
DECANT: For at least half an hour.

The Colchagua Valley
The Colchagua valley has evolved in the last twenty years, from a quiet extension of agricultural land to being one of the most active and prestigious winemaking regions in the country. The relatively low elevation of the coastal hills allows the breezes from the Pacific Ocean to interact with the Winds coming from the Andes Mountains, thus cooling the valley, and extending the ripening process in the region which benefits the conservation of the acidity in the grapes, which resolves in red wines of excellent coloration, great freshness, and good ageing capacity. The vast majority of the wines produced in Colchagua are reds, with a particular penchant to produce Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Syrah.
